Great Blue Heron Liftoff

This was a Heron that I followed in a tidel pool at Desoto State park to try to capture the moment of liftoff. I got lucky and captued the moment his feet left the water and his wings fully extended. To me he looks like a hood orniment. For me birds in motion shows their full beauty in moments we can not see because of how quickly it passes.
