A crack in the ice

As I was driving by Long John Slough in Willow Springs I noticed two Trumpeter Swans working very small pockets of open water. The entire slough was frozen except for two small sections on either end which the Swans were using to feed. I liked the setting and took a few shots showing as much of the habitat as possible. The Swans were trumpeting and seemed to be enjoying the sun and warm weather. Spring is right around the corner.
