A Couple of Sparrows

Sometimes when I look at a Great Bird Pic I wish I had photographed, I have to take into account how accessible that bird is in my area.  LeConte’s and Nelson’s Sparrows migrate through but are really tough to get to (often seen at Chicago’s lakefront).  I’ve snapped a couple of pictures of each, but nothing as good as what Bajadreamer captured in North Dakota recently.  Take a look:

Both of these sparrows have a yellow-orange look about them.  Here is a LaConte’s Sparrow in the grassland.

The Nelson’s Sparrow is even more colorful with the rich oranges and browns on it.

Thanks for sharing these two special sparrows with us Bajadreamer!
