A Few From India

Sylvester Alphonso lives in Mumbai, India and regularly shares some shots of birds he sees around there.  I’m not familiar with these birds but they make me want to visit India and see more.  Click on any of the pics and read interesting information about the bird in the Description Sylvester has written.

First, an Indian Gray Hornbill which looks to be a very large bird.

 

Here’s a closeup of an interesting fellow – a Painted Stork.

Finally, a Wooly Neck Stork foraging along a path in Assam, India.  Thanks for looks a birds we usually don’t see.
