Audubon Photo Contest Ends Soon

Contest Entries Accepted Until Noon EST March 9th

Fellow bird photographer and GBP member Emil Baumbach dropped me a note about the 2022 Audubon Photography Awards Contest.  I’m sending this special email out about it because the entry period is only until next Wednesday, March 9th at noon Eastern Standard Time.  I encourage all of our bird photographer members to consider entering this prestigious contest.  Here is a link to the rules page:  Audubon Photography Awards Contest

Please read over the contest rules carefully. Some of the highlights:

  • Over 10,000 entries are received each year.
  • There is a $15 per entry fee collected.  This goes to support Audubon’s conservation efforts.
  • If the photograph is given an award Audubon has the right to use the image in marketing efforts.
  • Grand Prize winner receives $5,000.  The Amateur Prize winner receives $2,500.

Emil says he’s going to submit an entry and I will too.  Anyone else?  At the least you’ll be making a $15 contribution to a great organization that supports birding and conservation efforts.

Thanks again to Emil for brining this to my attention.

Go birding.  Take Pics.  Share here and in photo contests.  Repeat.

Mike
