I’m a sucker for sequence pics (a series of shots showing an activity). GBP member anamour36 patiently captured a Great Blue Heron pair as they went through a courtship ritual up in a tree. I have rarely seen two of these photogenic birds together so it’s a unique view into their life. Thanks for sending along all the pics anamour36!
While not part of the mating ritual, I had to include this shot of the two of them fluffing up their feathers because they sense danger.
