A Cardinal Rule
Emil Baumbach was out at Montrose Point the other day laying on his stomach by a little puddle of water (that puddle is always there so it might be spring fed). He was able to get this Award Worthy shot of a male Cardinal. The exposure has to be set just right to capture the bright red color, otherwise it would be blown out and appear as a big splotchy patch of red.
Burningnaturephotography must have been there, too. He got this one as the Cardinal took a sip of water.
