Before sharing my selection for the Bird Photograph of the Week, a correction on yesterday’s post about motor camera shake. In my email to members I inadvertently labeled the Green-pigeon with a good focus as “soft” and visa versa (it was hard to see which was which in the email’s thumbnails). Here’s a link to the post showing the images labeled correctly: https://www.greatbirdpics.com/whole-lotta-shakin-going-on/
It was hard to select a Bird Photograph of the Week from all the excellent shots shared by members. I settled on Avneet Kaur’s shot of a Bald Eagle perched in a huge tree. I really liked the balance of the eagle with the bare limb on the right side. It gives a sense of the solitary existence of this magnificent bird.

Can never go wrong with an Eagle picture. Outstanding!
Thank you!!
