GBP Members’ Bird Photography Showcase – 5/22/25

Here’s a couple of pics that caught my eye recently:

Paul Demkovich captured the breeding plumage of a Snowy Egret from three different angles.  Which do you think is his best side?

 

Here’s a fierce looking raptor – a Crested Serpent Eagle – taken in Kaziranga Park, Assam, India.  Thanks to Sylvester Alphonso for all his Great Bird Pics from India!

 

One of my favorite warblers is the Prothonotary.  Its bright yellow body contrasting with gun-metal gray wings make it a spectacular bird to see.  Speaking of spectacular, asteinmann has captured one with a bug!

 

Finally, a low flying Bald Eagle captured by Kaur.  She did a great job of focusing on the bird, not the trees behind it.
