GBP Members’ Bird Photography Showcase – 7/27/22

Pretty Bird!  Pretty Bird!

Some interesting pics have come in recently.  Take a look:

JayBlue44 snapped a shot of this Double-crested Cormorant spreading its wings out over the water.  Nice shot!

Camp Stitch Nerd Bird was just walking down a path and came eye to eye with a juvenile Bald Eagle!  Probably a first year bird.

I can’t tell you how many times I drove and hour down to Montrose Point in search of the King Rail that was resident there a couple of years ago.  I almost got arrested once for doing so, but that’s another story.  So Randall28 goes over to Lambert Lake (which is 3 minutes away from my house) and snaps this picture of one walking down the path toward him!

Bajadreamer is still sending us wonderful pictures of birds from Portugal!  Looks like an extended trip there – here’s his shot of a Western Yellow Wagtail:

Stay Safe.  Go Birding.  Take Pics.  Share Here.  Repeat.
