In spite of the recent site problems Great Bird Pics members have continued to share their shots with us (now over 16,000!). Here’s a nice variety of pics that caught my eye:
Paul Demkovich was in Colorado looking for American Dippers but instead he found an adult and juvie Spotted Sandpiper. Good job getting both in the same shot!
So, docshaf was hanging out in the fish market in Bergen, Norway and saw a Hooded Crow perched atop a bench. I love all the colors in the composition.
So, ChrisBirds5K took an hour long boat trip out of Reykjavik, Iceland to an island where Atlantic Puffins were roosting. Here’s a nice shot of them by a couple of their burrows.
Finally, Avneet Kaur was in Hamilton, Ohio when she spotted two juvie Peregrine Falcons on a rooftop. One of them is nicely framed in an iron heart decoration. Good eye, Avneet!
