There have been so many Great Bird Pics of raptors in our Birds of Prey With Prey contest (ends soon) but I don’t like featuring a contest entry while the contest is still open. Luckily Bob submitted a wonderful shot of an Osprey that looks like it’s about to pounce on some unsuspecting fish so it’s not eligible for the contest. Note how the tail feathers are spread, usually used to slow down flight to provide a more accurate descent. Perfect focus on the eye and nicely composed overall. Great Bird Pic, Bob!
