Our Bird Photograph of the Week is of a Red-eyed Vireo taken by docshaf. Nicely framed and sharp as a tack – it also captured that red eye better than I’ve ever seen. Typically these birds sit high up in a tree, sing repeatedly, and rarely move making them very difficult to find. How lucky for docshaf (or was it patience?) that the bird came down to a perch in the sun for him.
