A quick update on the website status. We continue to have problems with the way you navigate through the Latest Pics, Search, and My Flock pics. The person working on it has been on vacation this week, so no corrections recently. Some have reported difficulties creating new photo entries – I have reported the issue and hope it will be addressed next week. Until then when uploading a photo ignore the first two fields (Title and Content). Begin entering at the second Title field.
Do you have a “nemesis” bird? A bird you try to find again and again and just can’t? For a long time my nemesis bird was a Cackling Goose – I would scan thousands of Canada Geese in search of one Cackling Goose. It took me years to finally find one.
Bajadreamer has a nemesis photography bird. A bird that he has seen several times but just couldn’t get a good picture of it. Well he finally caught a break when he got his Great Bird Pic of his nemesis photography bird – a Snowcap. A Snowcap is a type of hummingbird found in regions of Costa Rica.
