The theme of our next Bird Photography contest is, “Tis The Season” – the judges are looking for Great Bird Pics that remind us of the Christmas Season. Winter birds, birds in the snow, doves, red and green birds are all possible candidates for the contest. Use your imagination! No, birds with Santa hats Photoshopped onto their head are not eligible.
Here’s an example of a Northern Cardinal in the snow I took in Michigan a few years ago:
The winner will win $100. Here are the guidelines:
- Every entry must have the phrase “Contest” in the title so I know it’s in the contest.
- All entries must be submitted by 5 PM Central time on Friday, December 20, 2025. The winner will be announced around December 25, 2025
- Add a couple of sentences in the Description about how you got the shot and/or why it reminds you of the Christmas Season.
- Enter as many Great Bird Pics as you like, however photographs previously posted on GreatBirdPics.com are not eligible.
- The contest will be judged by Xwinger and I. Comments posted on entries do influence the judges!
- Participants are limited to members of GreatBirdPics.com.
