Green To Red Responses

A week ago I posted two versions the same Red-eyed Vireo image.  Here’s the shot that I took, which has a green tinge to the bird from the sun shining through the leaves around it.

Here’s the same shot, but I used Lightroom to adjust the Tint slider more to the Red range (from 34 to 90).

To which I asked the musical question, “So which is the more ‘natural’ picture of the bird?  The first picture is how I saw the bird in the forest and the second picture is how I wanted the bird to look like.  Should I keep the first one or the second one? And why?”

Great Bird Pics members thought that it is perfectly OK to change the Tint Setting in Lightroom to adjust the Green down (increasing the Red) in order to make the bird look more lifelike.  Also notice that the leaves’ colors are more realistic after adjustment.

Thanks for the responses!
