Paul Demkovich has been posting so many Great Bird Pics lately that I promised him I would feature some of them here. Take a look at five of his pics of interesting-looking birds he saw in Costa Rica. Thanks for sharing all your pics, Paul!
We’ll start with this stunning image of a Long-tailed Silky-flycatcher. Look at the color of its eye-ring.
Here’s an interesting hummer – a Snowy-bellied Hummingbird. Look how green its body is!
I’ve been to Costa Rica three times and haven’t seen a Speckled Tanager. Guess I’ll have to go back again.
I have seen the Streak-headed Woodcreeper, but this shot has a touch of red in the upper right that makes it stand out.
Finally, I love this shot of Western Cattle Egrets all feeding in a meadow of flowers. Quite a sight.
