Let’s welcome our newest photo contributor BlairBirder! He and I met on our Chile and Argentina trip back and February and he is an avid bird photographer, too. He’s been on many more international birding trips than I have so I am looking forward to seeing more of his pics here.
One of his first submissions is our Bird Photograph of the Week and it’s of an American Kestrel taken in the state of Washington. At first I thought he had introduced the blue on the bird but then I looked it up in a field guide and sure enough the males do exhibit that same color!
