Asteinmann Shares Along the Way

One of our most prolific GreatBirdPic sharers is asteinmann, who does so because he is able to travel so much.  Here are a few of his most recent pics.

While in New Mexico he got a shot of a Great Horned Owl sticking its head out of a tree.

 

This next one is from Texas – a Canyon Towhee.  Look for the yellow/orange wash beneath its tail.



 

I never have figured out how to pronounce Pyrrhuloxia, a relative of the Northern Cardinal.  This one was also taken in Texas.
