Our New Zealand naturalist Rebecca Bowater has been sharing some interesting pics from her country. Take a look:
She captured this Pukeko (Australasian Swamphen) chick chugging through the grass. Very interesting!
It’s only fitting that we have a Great Cormorant on GreatBirdPics! There known as a Black Shag. Note that in other parts of the world the Great Cormorant has a lot of white around the head and neck.
Finally a colorful Kakariki (Orange-fronted Parakeet). PS the difference between a Parakeet and Parrot is that the Parakeet is smaller overall, has a smaller beak, and a longer tail).
