Talking to Bird Brain Brother Doug the other day he surmised that there is a “Blocking Mass” of air preventing migrants from flowing up north. I think he just made “Blocking Mass” up but it’s so good I’m going to put it in the GBP Birder’s Illustrated Dictionary in his honor. After all, he is the guy that really got me into birding – and look what it led too!
I wonder how these members got into birding? Their pictures show they know their stuff.
