Pretty Bird! Pretty Bird!
After whining about the lack of migrants Wednesday a warm front finally brought some more of them into the area. It was so nice to get out and see so many birds hopping around in the trees! Of course the next day it was raining so not much birding. You know rain is a perfect excuse to share some GreatBirdPics – like these!
Looks like asteinmann found the same Louisiana Waterthrush we did up by the Lincoln Park Zoo.
While he was there asteinmann caught a White-throated Sparrow in a Red Bud Tree – beautiful colors!
Gurineb caught this bright red Cardinal in the Chicago Botanic Garden.
