Member’s Bird Photography Showcase – 6/23/21

Pretty Bird!  Pretty Bird!

Asteinman starts us out with a picture of a California Condor with a tag right on its wings.  He looked it up and it was hatched in June, 2016.  From the brink of extinction there are now over 500 of these huge birds.

Emil Baumbach went out to Will County in search of a rare (for our area) Lark Sparrow.  Such a beautiful bird – some think of sparrows as LBJs (Little Brown Jobs) but some, like this one, are beautiful.  Nice composition!

Virginia Rails are tough to find but LinLark found this one out in the open.

We’ll close it out today with a bird we often take for granted – until you see a picture of one like Birdman provided us.  Beautiful capture!

Stay Safe.  Go Birding.  Take Pics.  Share Here.  Repeat.

Mike
