More Boobies – Diving

Our New Zealand member Rebecca Bowater sometimes shares an image that is made up of four or six frames and I like that concept.  I find it interesting to see several versions of the same bird in one image, so I set out to learn how to create this effect in Photoshop.  After reviewing several YouTube videos (thanks to Bajadreamer for sending a link to one) I figured it out.  Since I am unfamiliar with Photoshop I had a bit of a learning curve to get over, but I did end up with several frame templates I can use in the future.

My first project was to capture six images of a Brown Booby diving in one frame.  Before, I would display them on the post or email one after another and the user would have to scroll down to see the progression.  Now you can see all six at once.  Take a look:

Review the images starting in the upper left and move across, then down.  The images were taken at Megan’s Bay in U.S. Virgin Islands, one of the most popular tourist beaches on the island of St. Thomas.

More examples of using frames in the future.
