Browsing the Latest Pics section of the website I always find interesting shots shared from our members. Here’s a couple that caught my eye.
Alphonso Sylvester shared a shot of a Crested Serpent Eagle and some interesting information about the species (click the pic below and read the Description).
A little closer to home, Dylan Gilbert shares a shot of a Yellow-crowned Sparrow. This interesting bird is primarily found west of the Rocky Mountains, ranging from Alaska to Mexico but has been sporadically seen coast to coast across the U.S. and Canada.
Jumping over to the Atlantic Coast (Delaware to be precise) docshaf was snapping pics of a Brown-headed Nuthatch. He says this was the first time he was able to get a decent picture of one. Very decent!
Finally, AlwaysBirding captured a Red-breasted Merganser sitting atop a small chunk of ice at Grand Haven State Park, Michigan. Great shot of the bird in a rather unique situation – GreatBirdPic!
