It won’t surprise you to know that several other GreatBirdPics members have been to Ecuador, too. And they came back with some wonderful pictures. It’s only fair that they get featured as well. Take a look at what they saw:
Paul Demkovich has been to a lot of places. Here’s a picture of a Many-banded Aracari he saw when in Ecuador.
Rebecca Bowater was on Chatham Island, one of the Galapagos Islands (part of Ecuador) when she saw a pair of nesting Red-footed Boobys.
Of course Bajadreamer has been to Ecuador and of course he got a great shot of the Sword-billed Hummingbird. Click pic to read about the relationship between the bird and the flower.
Here’s another shot of a bird that is much better than any I got. The Cock-of-the-Rock pic by Musky Mike rocks my world!
The last one (today) of birds seen in Ecuador is of the Long-wattled Umbrellabird. Even a backlit shot of this fantastic bird is worth featuring. Congratulations to Always Birding for getting this one.
