The House Sparrows in my yard love to perch on top of this bush, I guess because they get a great view of what’s going on in the yard. It also makes them vulnerable to predators though as just moments after taking this shot, a Cooper’s Hawk swooped in and snatched one of them for lunch. (See next picture for the dramatic ending of the story).
