American Coot

Show me the Feet

Found a nifty little pond in the adjacent neighborhood with some nice ducks. Most were too far off for good photos, but there were a couple of American Coots, which normally are pretty shy, feeding right by the shore this AM. I have yet to see the famous feet of this bird in person.
