Semipalmated Sandpiper

One Step at a Time.

This Semipalmated Sandpiper was one of the highlights from our great birding outing at montrose bird sanctuary! I was scanning the beach for shorebirds and I didn’t even realize at first that there were 2 shorebirds less than 10 feet from me!

Sometimes I miss those birds very close to me, until the fly away! Great shot of the Semipalmated.
