Yellow-throated Vireo

Stay at Home Dad

Viewed 21 Times

A bird that is usually high in the canopy and difficult to spot, this one came down to the lower branches of the tree, giving us some nice looks at it.

Fun fact about this bird: Unlike many songbirds, the male of this species will incubate and brood young, taking turns throughout the day with the female.

Thanks for including the Fun Fact with the Yellow-throated Vireo pic. Adds to the overall entry.
