Purple Martin
I just found a number of Purple Martin houses on a small island in a small lake in Armstrong Park. I had never been in that part of the park so had never seen them before. The houses are inhabited by lots of pairs. I know I have seen this species before but I guess I never recorded them so this turned out to be a lifer for me.

I saw those houses there this winter but of course the birds weren’t there. Will have to get back there to see them again. Nice pic with both male and female in it (and one peeking out!)
Hi Mike: There are plenty of birds there now so hope you can enjoy them. I did see that one peeking out. He/she looked a but scary so I moved on after that photo 🙂
