Very excited to see and photograph this Bell’s Vireo, a rare bird for the area and a lifer for me. This little guy or gal had a little deformed beak that looked cross-billed when closed, but was just singing up a storm for this shot.
Fun Fact about this bird: according to Cornell’s All About Birds, the Bell’s Vireo has never been observed drinking water and may be able to get all its hydration from its food.
