This is the same bird I previously posted. It is about 2 minutes later and I changed my shooting parameters to get a different look. This picture was taken at 1/200 SS, f/8.0. ISO 800 at 343 mm with the same camera and lens. The background is smoother (less noise), and the raindrops are elongated . This shot required very little processing-a small crop from the L and below to remove some distracting branches, selectively reducing the exposure (on the top of the branch and on top of his beak) and a small amount of sharpening.
