Black Skimmer

Skimmer feeding behavior

I’m continuing my bird photos from Texas with this Black Skimmer that was actually skimming the water. It a very unique feeding behavior, it they were fun to watch and photograph from a boardwalk.

Great shot. If the sun ever comes out here we plan to visit the Center. Hope anther skimmer shows up!
