Bald Eagle – Great Bird Pics

This 2nd year bird (which you can tell from the white belly and lack of white head. First year would not have a white belly. Third year would be starting to show white on its head) appears to be in need of a good molt with quite a number of damaged tail feathers and secondaries.

Perfect shot of the Bald Eagle with the head illuminated and the underside of the wings clearly visible. Thanks also for the information on how to tell first, second, and third years apart.
