Even though it left in mid afternoon with poor lighting, the elkhorn slough safari boat tour was a great way to see the wildlife of the slough. If I ever go back, maybe I will even work up the nerve to bring my camera out on a kayak. This pelagic cormorant showing off his iridescent head and neck was my favorite pick of the bunch from that excursion.
