Another desert Northern Cardinal

This is another bird that was photographed in the Arizona desert in January of 2022. I liked the lighting on this bird as he was sitting on this rock waiting for the warming rays of the sun. Taken with a Canon R5, 600 mm lens + 1.4 extender, ISO 800, SS 1/2500 sec, f/5.6 with EC of -.7 (to dampen the brightness of the rock). I have 100’s of pictures of Northern Cardinals taken over the years, but this is another bird that I cannot resist pushing the shutter button when one is in front of my camera.
