European Serin
This is a European Serin, a common bird in most of Europe. This picture appeals to me because of the perch. I debated cropping this further, but decided that the branches of this pine tree were just as striking as the bird. Picture was taken on a cloudy, drizzly day.

Good choice of crop on the Serin pic! There’s a lot to look at in the pic – all of which is interesting. The spider webs on the left balance the bird on the right. Beautifully captured – Award Worthy.
