Two birds were feeding along a very windy shoreline finding food under leaves and in the algae mat. Because of the wind they were keeping a low posture most of the time.

Rusty’s can be such beautiful birds (much like European Starlings). Great capture of one in the kelp down at Montrose – you picked up all the subtle coloring of the bird.
