Cerulean Warbles have always eluded me and my quest to photograph one. In my home area I only see these during spring and fall migration. At the end of spring migration and having not photographed one I was eager to chase after this one.. By chase I mean drive out of my normal photography areas. When I was told by a great friend and spectacular photographer, of this bird being in Lake county, IL. I was all in and in my car it a swift moment. Upon getting to this area, one local birder stated the bird was still here, but was not seen today.. Story of my life.. I had the time and grit to stay for about 4 hours looking and waiting.. Finally I was rewarded by this guy coming down to almost eye level and giving me some photos. Special thanks goes out to Emil… you know who you are.
