Morning Light on a Cooper’s Hawk

Perched on a tree overlooking Route 20 in Brimfield, Massachusetts. I was driving to Quabbin Reservoir. This photo op was better than what I found at Quabbin. I cropped the tail in this image specifically to focus more on the head and eye of this Hawk which I find particularly attractive.
