This pine Grosbeak was perched on top of it’s world for this photo.. Waited for a while for this photo to happen.. I have a tendency to sit on a nice scene waiting for a bird to come into it.. Sometimes it works,, other times I sit and wait for hours for nothing..
Love this shot. As Emil stated, the perch, the BG, the bird, the exposure-what is there not to like about this shot? I have major photo envy. I understand totally about your technique; my favorite style too.
