This Red-eyed Vireo was having a great time eating these small white berries. Some refer to these berries as “Doll Eyes”. I waited and watched this guy working its way around the tree until I was able to get a shot without the white sky in the background. Choosing the background is an art that I’m trying to make myself aware of when photographing birds.. It’s not easy when the subject is on the move.
