Cedar waxwings are known for eating bright red berries.. When passing a berry tree like the on in the photo, I always find myself picking one to see if it’s soft and ready for the birds to eat.. once I find a tree that’s prime for the picking, I’ll frequent it often listening for the Waxwings distinctive calls.
