Snowy Owl

Tis the season

Snowy Owls are a rare visitor to the area I currently call home.. This particular photo was taken from my Jeep along a busy interstate.. I was driving to a location known for Snowy Owls when I noticed this snow mount on a tree stump right next to the road.. I was so shocked by what I seen, I thought maybe I was seeing a mount of snow and thinking it was an owl… Anyways when driving 70MPH on a busy road I did not slam on the breaks, but rather raced for the nearest exit and turned around.. I was delighted to see the Owl still in the same spot when I finally got back around to it.. I only took 2 pics and left for the safety of the owl and myself..
