This snowy Owl showed up to our area a bit to early.. It was kind of easy to spot in the field without any snow on the ground.. I stopped my Vehicle on a farmers dirt road and laid down next to it to get this blurred foreground. The Owl never moved and continued resting while I drove away… Being a good photographer is one thing, being a good friend to your subjects is another.. I always put the birds health and try my hardest not to stress them out when taking photos..

I can never get enough snowy shots. She looks content and really stands out with some sun on her. Nice find and shot.
Thank you Emil.
Wonderful shot of the Snowy and thanks too for the reminder to be respectful of birds, particularly owls, as we photograph them.
Thanks Mike.
