I waited 3 days for a huge flock of Waxwings to work their way down the crabapple trees to get to the low hanging fruit. This offered me a decent opportunity to get a nice background shot. This is the best I could do in the frantic feeding frenzy. Notice the waxy red tips on the open wing. The berry in mouth is a bonus.

Well done Emil.. It’s hard to get a bird to wave at the camera, but once again you nailed it..
Thanks Jamie.
