I always struggle every Spring on getting a keeper photo, or just a good look at the Male Ruby-throated Hummingbird.. I have no problems getting the females or later in the summertime the immature males.. This unexpected male gave me some great looks and maybe even a keeper shot!!!!!

One out of a hundred is worth it when you get a shot like the male Ruby in flight. I would say it’s not only a keeper but an Award Worthy shot! Thanks for sharing it with us.
