Perfect perch

When I’m out photographing birds I’m always looking for that “Perfect Perch”. Many times I see the perch, but never get a subject to land on it for the picture. On this day I was at the beach photographing Snow buntings, who are know for being in on the beach forging for food.. This particular one was startled by people walking and flew right on this upright branch. Opportunity knocked and I was there to take the shot.
