This Field Sparrow was easy to identify due to the longer than usual tail.. I often struggle with field identifying of Sparrows, but not this one…. Most other times I use Merlin bird ID app on my phone.. You just take a photo with your phone of the back of your camera and it will identify the bird, (Most times) correctly.
